With only three weeks of the summer transfer window left to go, there are so many deals Chelsea still need to complete despite being busy in the market
A decision over Mykhailo Mudryk’s future is yet to be made
Just over three weeks remain of the 2026 summer transfer window and for Chelsea, there is still so much business to get done between now and the deadline.
The Blues have already been extremely busy in terms of incomings at Stamford Bridge. On top of the pre-agreed deals, with Valentin Barco, Geovany Quenda, Emmanuel Emegha, Dastan Satpayev and Denner all joining, the west Londoners have also added Morgan Rogers, Maxence Lacroix, Marco Palestra, Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck to their ranks this summer.
Pep Chavarria has signed a long-term contract at Chelsea as well, although we await official club confirmation regarding the Spanish left back – but that should come this week at some point. The Blues have also shipped off five first-team players over the last couple of months with the club working on trimming Xabi Alonso‘s squad down before the start of the 2026/27 season.

In the next week, the west Londoners will be hoping to offload even more senior players. Sources say Filip Jorgensen is expected to sign for Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg. The Danish goalkeeper, keen to play more regular football, is expected to move to the French club on a straight season-long loan deal with no buy option.
Elsewhere, Chelsea defender Axel Disasi has interest from numerous Premier League sides, including Crystal Palace. The Frenchman’s stock rose in the second half of last season with a multitude of impressive performances while on loan at West Ham United.
Benoit Badiashile has plenty of interest from around Europe, with the majority of potential suitors understood to be from Italy. The French defender is free to leave Stamford Bridge for the right price and is keen in doing so as he looks for regular first-team minutes.
A decision over Mykhailo Mudryk is yet to be made by Chelsea. The 25-year-old winger recently returned to playing competitive football for the first time since November 2024, with Alonso, alongside the sporting directors, set to make a final call on where he will be playing next season.
Coventry City are among the three Premier League clubs to have made an approach for Mudryk. A loan deal is an option for Chelsea in order for Mudryk to try and get back to 100% after being out in the wilderness for so long.
Chelsea will be also hoping to sort out their striker situation in the near future. At the moment, these are the centre-forward options available to Alonso: Joao Pedro, Nicolas Jackson, Liam Delap, Emegha, Welbeck, Marc Guiu and David Datro Fofana.
At least three of the above need to be moved on this summer – whether that is on loan or on a permanent basis. Joao Pedro is deemed ‘untouchable’ after a fabulous debut season at Stamford Bridge, while Welbeck has just arrived.
Jackson showed glimpses of his quality during the club’s pre-season tour, as did Delap, while Emegha did not travel with the squad after suffering an agonising hamstring injury just a day before he was scheduled to board the plane to Sydney. A loan for the upcoming season is an option for Emegha, while Delap and Jackson are available for sale at the right price – the latter being valued at £65million.
Guiu, meanwhile, is available for £25m this summer, while Chelsea outcast Datro Fofana is expected to leave the club.
