Tottenham Hotspur have splashed out in the transfer window this summer, but they’re appetite for new signings has not eased just yet

Tottenham Hotspur are not expected to explore any move for Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson, football.london understands. The Senegalese forward has a price tag of £65million on his head.
Jackson spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich, where he impressed in spells but did not do enough to convince Vincent Kompany’s side to sign him permanently. Reports had claimed the striker was on Roberto De Zerbi’s transfer list, which is believed to include Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo and Manchester City forward Savinho.
However, Jackson is not in their transfer plans despite De Zerbi appearing to prioritise centre-forward. A left-sided attacker and a striker are understood to be his new priorities this summer.
Spurs have meant business this summer, forking out more than £230m already on Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andrew Robertson and Marco Senesi. The spending is not expected to end there.

De Zerbi also suggested current Tottenham forward Richarlison may depart the club in this summer’s transfer window.
Speaking about the Brazilian, the Spurs boss said: “I don’t know, because as a player, as a guy, he’s unbelievable [in] his attitude and behaviour, but in the end, we have to respect what he wants to do.
“It’s not so easy to find another striker as Richarlison, because Richarlison scores goals and he knows the way. The new striker, we don’t know.
“The other striker, we don’t know. He scored 12 goals last season — not lucky, because he feels the way to score goals. So I don’t know. I didn’t understand well because sometimes he says [he wants] to stay, sometimes he [wants to] leave.
“There is not any problem. He’s a lovely guy. All of us know him; he makes the club, the staff, because he works hard every day, seriously every day, and we can’t say anything [negative].”
Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso also suggested no decision has been made on Jackson’s future. Speaking about the forward, who has also been linked with Aston Villa, Alonso said: “Nico is a great player, a threat against any defence.
“We want players that can compete. Nico is one of them. We need to go day-by-day checking options, but we are happy Nico is with us.”
