Los Blancos have reportedly offered the Portuguese international a two-year contract, with the returning Jose Mourinho playing a key role in the transfer.

Silva announced his departure from Manchester City earlier this year after almost a decade stay, following his transfer from Monaco in 2017.
The 31-year-old leaves the Etihad Stadium with a club record 20 trophies to his name, and he is surely excited about working under Mourinho at Real.
Silva, of course, will be fully focused on achieving World Cup glory with Portugal before beginning his next chapter in the Spanish capital, and he isn’t the only one being linked with a move.
Real Madrid were showing an interest in teammate Rodriand presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme promised his arrival if he won the election.
Florentino Perez unsurprisingly came out on top to remain Madrid’s president on June 7, and now, they’re not expected to advance for Rodri after securing a deal for Silva.
According to Fabrizio Romano, it’s now up to the Ballon d’Or winner to decide whether he signs a new contract at the Etihad or leave on a free transfer in 2027.
