Real Madrid are reportedly set to beat LaLiga rivals Barcelona and Atletico Madrid to the signing of Bernardo Silva.

The 31-year-old will officially become a free agent once his Man City contract expires on July 1st, but he’s already set to seal a move.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are in ‘advanced talks’ with Silva with incoming manager Jose Mourinho pushing to get it done.

Silva has also been heavily linked with moves to LaLiga rivals Barcelona and Atletico Madridbut Real are now ‘confident’ they’ll win the race to sign him.

The player himself recently said that he won’t be announcing his new club until after his World Cup campaign with Portugal.
