Nottingham Forest have reportedly rejected Man City’s record breaking bid for midfielder Elliot Anderson.

It’s been reported that Man City made a whopping £120 million, including add-ons, offer for Forest ace Anderson23.

It’s an offer that would make him the most expensive British player in history, surpassing England teammate Declan Rice, who joined Arsenal from West Ham for £105m.

According to The Telegraph, Forest have turned City’s offer down and are holding out for an offer in excess of the £125 million Liverpool paid for Alexander Isak.

Talks are still ongoing, however, as Anderson remains City’s priority target as they prepare for life under incoming manager Enzo Maresca.
