“Today a campaign ends, but something much more important begins. We want to congratulate Florentino Pérez and reach out to open the debate about the future of madridismo that so many members have called for,” wrote the man from Cox, setting aside the combative tone he had adopted during the campaign.

He also acknowledged the support of the fans who voted for him: “Thank you to all the madridistas who placed their trust in us. In just a few weeks, a candidacy born from hope managed to bring together thousands of members and reach 35% of the votes,” he said.

“We have proven something that no one can deny anymore: there is an alternative. There is a future. There is a different way to build, to listen, and to put the members at the center,” he continued. “This doesn’t end here. We will continue to be the voice of those who believe that Real Madrid should remain in the hands of its members,” he concluded.

“It all started here.

With the excitement of a child who learned that Real Madrid belongs to its members, its history, and its people.

Today a campaign ends, but something much more important begins.

We want to congratulate Florentino Pérez and reach out to open the debate about the future of madridismo that so many members have called for.

Thank you to all the madridistas who placed their trust in us. In just a few weeks, a candidacy born from hope managed to bring together thousands of members and reach 35% of the votes.

We have proven something that no one can deny anymore: there is an alternative. There is a future. There is a different way to build, to listen, and to put the members at the center.

We have all won. Because you should never be afraid of the ballot box. You should never be afraid to listen.

This doesn’t end here. We will continue to be the voice of those who believe that Real Madrid should remain in the hands of its members.

The child in the photo still believes.

And now there are many more of us.”.
