Neymar then suffered a calf injury, but manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the Santos forward is still part of his World Cup plans.
Brazil’s football federation have now issued an update on Neymar’s health, saying: “Neymar underwent MRI on Monday and tests showed a good evolution in his treatment — within the expected parameters”.
“He will follow the recovery preparation process planned by the medical commission of the Brazilian National Team”.
