Manchester United legend Roy Keane has torn into players who missed out on England’s World Cup squad.
England open their World Cup campaign against 2018 semi-final foes Croatia in Dallas on June 17th as they get used to the heat in North America over the next 10 days.

The Three Lions, managed by Thomas Tuchel, are without the likes of Phil Foden, Cole PalmerHarry Maguire, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Harry Maguire in what is a controversial World Cup side.
England gave a subpar performance against New Zealand on Saturday night, narrowly beating one of the lowest ranked World Cup nations just 1-0.
Speaking after the clash, Keane grew frustrated as he believes that every poor performance leads to fans believing players left out of the squad could have done better under Tuchel.
“Every time we do an England game, we speak a lot about players who have been left out or in terms of the squad are left out of the starting XI.
“But I think if you can’t get into a squad of 26, that’s on you. That is on the player, you’ve not done enough to convince that manager and there will always be uproar with England for players that are left out if they play for certain clubs, but that’s on you, if you can’t make a squad of 26, that’s on you, don’t blame anyone else.”
After Croatia, England face Ghana and Panama in the group stage in which they are favourites to finish top. Tuchel’s team selection will be a hot topic over the coming weeks, especially if the side do fail to reach the next round.
