Ibrahima Konate’s Real Madrid wage has been revealed as fans react to how much to the former Liverpool defender will earn.

He joined Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson out the exit door in what looks to be another huge summer of change over the coming months under new manager Andoni Iraola.
As Konate prepares to join the Spanish giants following contract talks breaking down over finances, his wages have been revealed by reports which state that Frenchman will earn approximately £400,000 per week.
Furthermore, the 27-year-old will earn a signing bonus of £17.3m for agreeing to join Los Blancos according to reports, a gigantic fee for the defender who was earning far less than the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Salah on Merseyside.
Current Real Madrid president Florentino Perez claimed that Konate will join the club if he is reelected, a move that looks almost certain as the 27 year old prepares for his big money move.
“If I am elected president, Konate will be my first signing and he will play for Real Madrid,” he told Spanish newspaper AS.
“As long as I’m president, the best players in the world will play here.
“And next season we’re going to strengthen the team with top players in every position.
“We are working on all these signings. I can assure you that if I remain president of Real Madrid, one of the world’s greatest defenders, Konate, will play for Real Madrid starting next season.”
