Spain’s World Cup preparations suffered a scare after Barcelona midfielder Gavi caught teammate Rodri with a heavy challenge during training in Chattanooga, United States.
Preparing for their tournament opener against Cape Verde on June 15, Luis de la Fuente’s squad watched anxiously as the Manchester City star collapsed in pain after Gavi accidentally planted his studs on his ankle.

Rodri remained on the ground clutching his leg, raising fears of a serious injury just days before the World Cup.
Gavi quickly apologized while medical staff rushed to assess the midfielder’s condition. Fortunately for SpainRodri was able to get back on his feet and complete the session despite showing a slight limp, easing concerns over his availability.
