Raheem Sterling has been seen taking on a different role after being left without a club this summer

Raheem Sterling has been spotted training the next generation of aspiring footballers as he continues his search for a new club. The four-time Premier League champion, 31, has endured a difficult time on and off the pitch in recent years and is currently without a team.
Sterling was told he was no longer wanted and essentially forced out of Chelsea by Enzo Maresca in 2024. A hugely underwhelming spell on loan at Arsenal followed in 2024/25.
After his return to west London last summer, Sterling spent the first half of last season in exile and was forced to train separately, having been barred from the main club facilities. The veteran forward eventually left the Blues by mutual agreement in January of this year and signed for Feyenoord until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
He failed to make much of an impression during his brief and disappointing stint in the Netherlands. Now, while searching for a new team as a free agent, Sterling has been keeping busy by coaching at his own RS7 Academy.

Having been out of the public eye due to his lack of club football, the academy’s social media pages show that the former England star is currently passing on his considerable insight and knowledge to youngsters looking to become future football players.
Several clips show the winger running hands-on training sessions, teaching young children various skills and finishing drills, along with sharing tactical gems.
He initially set up RS7 Academy while looking for a suitable training environment for his young son to flourish, away from the tactics-based systems at high-profile academies. Combining elite coaching with personal development, the academy has seen big names such as Premier League legend Ashley Cole, who most recently managed Serie B club Cesena FC, also run training sessions.
The academy also recently partnered with UCFB (University Campus of Football) with plans for future university students to also take part and gain experience within the set-up.
