Cristiano Ronaldo could soon see another of his Portugal teammates move to Saudi Arabia, with Al-Hilal reportedly keen on Pedro Neto. The Chelsea winger has been linked with a transfer this summer, having starred for the Seleçao at the FIFA World Cup.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Neto features prominently on Al-Hilal’s list of targets to beef up their squad for the 2026-27 season. The Saudi giants are aiming to reclaim superiority in Asian football, and recognize the need for an improved squad.

The deal for the 26-year-old will depend largely on the fee charged by Chelsea, whose asking price was deemed exorbitant by Manchester City earlier this summer. Al-Hilal will approach the Premier League side to understand the conditions of a deal, but have two more names on their shortlist.
Cristiano Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr teammates narrowly beat Al-Hilal to the Saudi Pro League title last summer, leading to their proactiveness in the transfer market. They have picked up Netherlands international Crysencio Summerville from West Ham this summer, and are now looking to further strengthen their attack.
Pedro Neto played with Cristiano Ronaldo at the FIFA World Cup, and could now rival the 41-year-old in the Riyadh rivalry. Another of Portugal’s World Cup stars, Samu Costa, is now on the books of Al-Nassr, having joined from Mallorca this summer.
A good number of Portuguese players presently ply their trade in Saudi Arabia, including Al-Hilal stars Ruben Neves and Joao Cancelo. Joao Felix also plays there, as does Francisco Trincao, and Neto may soon join them.

Al-Nassr icon Cristiano Ronaldo has missed out on an award in the Saudi Pro League, with teammate Joao Felix winning it, instead. The 41-year-old watched on from a VIP box as the Knights of Najd got their season off to a winning start with a 3-0 scoreline against Al-Fateh.
Joao Felix enjoyed an impressive debut season in Saudi Arabia, having joined Al-Nassr from Chelsea last summer. He was named as the Player of the Season for the 2025-26 season, beating Ronaldo to the award after helping his club to end their trophy drought.
Felix ended the 2025-26 season with 20 goals and 13 assists in 33 league appearances for his club. He started the new season just as he ended the last one, scoring the second goal for the Knights of Najd as Ange Postecoglou’s reign got off to a winning start.
