Chelsea will discover their Carabao Cup second-round opponents on Monday evening as Xabi Alonso prepares for his first domestic cup tie as Blues head coach.
The Blues enter the competition at this stage after missing out on European qualification last season and will be joined by 10 other Premier League clubs alongside the winners from the first round.
The draw takes place during the build-up to Plymouth Argyle against Exeter City and is expected to begin at approximately 7.20pm BST.

The Carabao Cup second-round draw takes place on Monday, 10 August 2026.
It will be conducted before Plymouth face Exeter in the final first-round tie, which kicks off at 8pm.
The draw is expected to start at approximately 7.20pm BST.
Sky Sports presenter David Prutton will host proceedings, with Jobi McAnuff and Jamie Mackie conducting the draw.

Chelsea are ball number seven in Monday evening’s draw.
The Blues will be looking to win the League Cup for a sixth time, having last lifted the trophy under Jose Mourinho in 2015.
Who could Chelsea face?
The second-round draw remains regionalised, meaning Chelsea can only be paired with another club placed in the southern section.
The final allocation of clubs into the two sections will be confirmed before the draw.
However, potential opponents include fellow Premier League sides such as Tottenham Hotspur, Brentford and Fulham, while West Ham United are among the EFL clubs already through after beating Portsmouth 3-1.
Southampton, Charlton Athletic, Millwall, Norwich City, Watford, Birmingham City and Leicester City are also among the clubs through from the southern half of the first-round draw.
Chelsea and Tottenham can be drawn against each other at this stage, with no seeding rule preventing an all-Premier League tie.
The second-round tie falls immediately after the Premier League opener at Fulham and before Brighton visit Stamford Bridge.
