Former Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro has responded to Jose Mourinho‘s claims in his Netflix docu-series with a veiled dig at him. The pair were involved in a documented misunderstanding which eventually led the doctor to leave the club 11 years ago.
Carneiro has aimed a dig at Mourinho on social media, announcing an upcoming project which she termed ‘a truly special one’. She also described it as ‘not an old set piece’ as her grudge with the former Chelsea boss seems to have no end in sight.

Mourinho refused to apologize for referring to her as the ‘daughter of a wh*re’ back in 2015 during a Premier League game against Swansea City. Speaking in his docu-series, he revealed that such language was normal in football and that she had taken things too seriously because she was not a football person.
Carneiro had been dropped from first-team duties at Chelsea immediately after the incident at the start of the 2015-16 season. She would leave the club about a month later before dragging them to court for sexual discrimination and her subsequent dismissal. She received a substantial settlement from the club and has since avoided the spotlight.
