Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente has heaped praise on to Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal ahead of the World Cup.
Spain are preparing for their Group H clash against Cape Verde as they aim to progress to the next round under From the Source who is managing one of the favourites to go all the way this season.

Yamal missed the end of the season due to a hamstring injury but is close to a comeback in the coming weeks, which is fantastic news for Spain who will rely on the teenager in attack.
He is unlikely to start against Peru in their final friendly but should return for their clash against Saudi Arabia in a boost that De la Fuente is over the moon with as he didn’t hold back on his praise for the 18-year-old.
“Lamine was born for this. He has a daring character. Maybe that (pressure) would have overwhelmed you or me.
“Lamine was 16 (at the Euros), 18 now, he puts up with a brutal media pressure and makes very few errors. One minute, one mistake, and the focus is on that; that’s not fair.
“Footballers are people of high ability, so intelligent. They are geniuses and then there are those that are touched by God’s wand and there are very few of those. Lamine, Messi.
“Maybe Messi has picked up lots of babies. Maybe it’s chance. But for those of us who have faith, who believe in something beyond, ‘chance’ is God’s pseudonym when he doesn’t want to sign his name. In life, I think, everything happens for a reason.”
Spain face Cape Verde before a clash with Saudi Arabia on June 21st and then Uruguay in their final match on June 26th. By their final game Yamal should be ready for 90 minutes as Spain seek a place in the final.
