The 22-year-old, who can also play in midfield, was called up to his first World Cup by Julian Nagelsmann and is set to play a crucial role for Germany at the tournament.
It’s an exciting time for Brown, not just on the pitch, as the talented wing-back is close to sealing his dream transfer to Bayern.
According to Florian Plettenberg, a package worth up to 55m (£47m) has been agreed, and the “final talks” are now focused on the fixed fee and performance-related add-ons.
The above figure would be a record for a German full-back, while a medical isn’t expected to be an issue.
A move to Bayern will be a source of excitement for the youngster, though his current priority is excelling on the international stage with Germany, starting on June 14 against Curacao.
