Former Angers manager Alexandre Dujeux has emerged as the leading candidate to become FC Lorient’s next head coach.
Dujeux recently left Angers after a successful spell in charge, having guided the club back to Ligue 1 before securing top-flight survival in consecutive seasons despite operating with a modest budget.

His departure was initiated by the coach himself, the club confirmed earlier this week.
According to RMC Sport, Lorient have now turned their attention to the 49-year-old after missing out on top target Will Still, who is expected to replace Christophe Pelissier at AJ Auxerre.
Dujeux is also reportedly being considered by OGC Nice, but Les Merlus are keen to appoint him as the successor to Olivier Pantaloni, who surprisingly left the club following the conclusion of the Ligue 1 campaign.
