RB Leipzig sent to appoint Martin Demichelis as Ole Werner replacement

RB Leipzig are reportedly on the verge of hiring Martin Demichelis as a replacement for Ole Werner.

Werner, 38, only joined the German club last summer but is set to be sacked despite leading them to a third place Bundesliga finish.

According to Fabrizio Romano, RB Leipzig have activated the release clause of Mallorca manager Demichelis.

Talks with the former Man City defender are underway behind the scenes with an agreement expected quickly considering Mallorca’s relegation.

Per Florian PlettenbergWerner hasn’t been sacked just yet and is currently on holiday awaiting the final decision.
