Manchester City’s recently departed skipper Bernardo Silva is still deciding on his future as he denies Barcelona rumours.
Silva has been at the club for nine years under boss Pep Guardiola who will also depart alongside the midfielder in what is a huge summer shift for the Premier League side.

In his time at the Etihad Stadium, Silva has won every competition possible, including six Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2023 as he leaves as a club icon.
Now, as the summer window approaches, Silva has pushed away rumours that he may make his way to La Liga as connections grow to Barcelona.
“I haven’t made a decision yet. I want to be at a club that wants me, that’s for sure. A club where I feel I will be useful,” Silva said.
“Is it a dream? (to join Barcelona) I’m not going to answer that because I don’t know where I’ll end up. (Barcelona) is an option I have, but I haven’t made that decision yet. We don’t know what will happen.”
His agent Jorge Mendes also revealed that a choice will be made over the coming months: “Bernardo will decide after the World Cup.”
Reports claim the Spanish giants are reportedly only able to offer him a salary of £80,000 per week which would be a significant decrease on his earnings at City.
As he ponders his career at 31 years old, he will be weighing up all his options, especially as many other sides will be able to offer him much higher wages.
