Chelsea legend Joe Cole has urged his former club to make a move for Man United’s Marcus Rashford with his Barcelona stay now off the table.
It’s been confirmed that Barcelona will not be activating the £26 million release clause included in Rashford’s loan deal with Man United.

Man United are still looking to sell the 28-year-old, however, with the player said to be keen on ending his time with the club.
Speaking to SunSport, former Chelsea forward Cole believes his former club could be the perfect home for Rashford.
“It’s just a matter of the wages and the valuation. Rashford ticks a lot of boxes, but you don’t want to spend a fortune on him – he’d do a good job for Chelsea,” he said.
“He needs to keep going, Marcus, he needs to keep his confidence up because he rebuilt himself at Barcelona, and there’s still another level for him to jump to.
“He’s someone Chelsea should inquire about, but it’ll depend on the deal.”
