Artificial intelligence could soon have a seat at the transfer table, with several Premier League clubs exploring tools to prepare for negotiations.

According to the Telegraph, at least three clubs are considering deploying a digital clone of rival teams to gain an edge in talks. The software is Nostrada.ai, a system used in politics and previously employed by Spanish and Slovenian government officials to model UK prime minister Keir Starmer’s responses during last-minute Brexit recovery deal negotiations.

The developer is now building a football-focused version, drawing on datasets compiled by an Argentine company that tracks transfers and long-term market trends.

Using those inputs, the platform could predict how clubs might react to bids for their players, giving users a head start before any real discussions begin.

Nostrada.ai plans to offer a secure, club-specific platform so clients’ information remains protected and cannot be used against them. The company has yet to say whether it will make the chatbot available across the Premier League or pursue an exclusive partnership with a single club.
